Install adhere on iPhone

adhere es una Progressive Web App (PWA). No se descarga desde el App Store — se instala directamente desde Safari en menos de 2 minutos.

adhere is a Progressive Web App (PWA). It isn't downloaded from the App Store — it installs directly from Safari in under 2 minutes.

Abre Safari y navega a la app

En tu iPhone, abre Safari (no Chrome, no Firefox — debe ser Safari) y escribe en la barra de direcciones:

Usar Chrome o Firefox en iOS no activa las notificaciones push. Debe ser Safari obligatoriamente.
Using Chrome or Firefox on iOS won't enable push notifications. It must be Safari.

Abre el menú de Compartir
Open the Share menu

En la mayoría de iPhones el ícono de Compartir no está visible directamente — primero toca el botón de más opciones ("•••") en la parte inferior de Safari.

On most iPhones the Share icon isn't directly visible — first tap the more options ("•••") button at the bottom of Safari.

Toca "Ver más"
Tap "More"

Se abre la hoja de Compartir. "Agregar a pantalla de inicio" no aparece en la primera fila de opciones — tienes que revelarla. Busca la fila con Copiar / Añadir a marcadores / Añadir a lista de lectura, y toca "Ver más".

The Share sheet opens. "Add to Home Screen" doesn't appear in the first row of options — you have to reveal it. Find the row with Copy / Add Bookmark / Add to Reading List, and tap "More".

Acorta el nombre y toca "Agregar"
Shorten the name and tap "Add"

Safari muestra una pantalla de confirmación. El nombre viene pre-llenado con el título completo de la página (largo) — bórralo y escribe simplemente "adhere" para que el nombre no se corte debajo del ícono. Confirma que el ícono mostrado es el logo azul de adhere, y toca "Agregar" arriba a la derecha.

Safari shows a confirmation screen. The name comes pre-filled with the full page title (long) — delete it and simply type "adhere" so the name doesn't get cut off under the icon. Confirm the icon shown is the blue adhere logo, and tap "Add" in the top right.

El nombre por defecto es el título completo de la página, no solo "adhere" — bórralo y escribe "adhere" a mano antes de tocar "Agregar", o el nombre debajo del ícono aparecerá cortado.
The default name is the full page title, not just "adhere" — delete it and type "adhere" by hand before tapping "Add", or the name under the icon will show up cut off.
Si el ícono tarda un segundo en cargar y ves un cuadro gris con una letra, espera — normalmente carga antes de que termines de editar el nombre. Si persiste, cierra Safari por completo y vuelve a intentarlo.
If the icon takes a second to load and you see a gray box with a letter, wait — it usually loads before you finish editing the name. If it persists, fully close Safari and try again.

Abre adhere desde la pantalla de inicio
Open adhere from the Home Screen

El ícono de adhere aparece en tu pantalla de inicio. Ábrelo desde allí — esto es importante: las notificaciones push solo funcionan cuando la app se abre desde el ícono instalado, no desde Safari directamente.

The adhere icon appears on your Home Screen. Open it from there — this matters: push notifications only work when the app is opened from the installed icon, not directly from Safari.

El número rojo en el ícono (badge) muestra las dosis pendientes. Se actualiza cada vez que llega una notificación push.
The red number on the icon (badge) shows pending doses. It updates every time a push notification arrives.

Activa las notificaciones y verifica
Turn on notifications and verify

Cuando abras adhere desde el ícono por primera vez, la app te pedirá permiso para enviar notificaciones. Toca "Permitir".

When you open adhere from the icon for the first time, the app will ask permission to send notifications. Tap "Allow".

Si no apareció el diálogo o lo rechazaste accidentalmente, ve a Ajustes en adhere y toca "Activar notificaciones push". Si el sistema pregunta, selecciona "Permitir".

If the dialog didn't appear or you accidentally dismissed it, go to Settings in adhere and tap "Enable push notifications". If the system asks, select "Allow".

iOS 16.4+ permite notificaciones push para PWAs instaladas en la pantalla de inicio. Si tienes iOS anterior a 16.4, actualiza desde Configuración > General > Actualización de software.
iOS 16.4+ supports push notifications for PWAs installed on the Home Screen. If you have an iOS version earlier than 16.4, update via Settings > General > Software Update.
Si rechazas la notificación el sistema no volverá a preguntar automáticamente. Ve a Configuración del iPhone → adhere → Notificaciones y actívalas manualmente.
If you decline the notification, the system won't automatically ask again. Go to iPhone Settings → adhere → Notifications and turn them on manually.

Por último, en Ajustes de adhere toca "Enviar prueba" — recibirás una notificación de prueba en segundos si todo está configurado correctamente.

Finally, in adhere's Settings tap "Send test" — you'll receive a test notification within seconds if everything is set up correctly.

Listo. adhere está instalado como una app nativa en tu iPhone, con notificaciones push y contador de dosis pendientes en el ícono.
